This replacement battery for a sony VGP has been used for 1 month .it could last longer time than my original one.i am satified with its working performance. although it was made in china, this item actually has a very trustful quality.highly recommended.

I'm not sure what the standard battery life is, but i have used it for 3 months ,it is in good condition.
