original battery lasted about a year, it was a long life the same as replacement except not from Dell. The replacement was installed on 6-24-2007 today 5-6-2009 it only lasted about an hour so decided to order another from Power_Direct. This battery has worked twice as long as original and is still working. Ordering a new one today.
