since these computers are oldish and most have oxidized or at least gotten a tad dirty, I'd have to think that even a brand new SONY battery wouldn't be a 100% match visually. Trust me, nobody else will notice this battery's lack of Sonyness, and you'll feel you've gotten a fine replacement and saved a few bucks. Battery life is way longer than my mostly drained original, and though I haven't clocked it, I'd estimate that it goes for a few hours and then some.
