Handles many voltages, comes with a wide assortment of tips. Although it tells you to check the voltage before use, it remembers the previous voltage for a long time (I've never had to set it again since the first use).

And the brick doesn't get excessively hot like other power supplies I've used.

This device has the power to run a fast 15.4" laptop easily, while still charging the battery quickly during use. From completely flat to full charge takes under two hours even when I'm using the machine heavily and maxing out the CPU for most of that time.

Cons: Blue light is probably a bit too bright than is necessary.

The end of the cord plus the proper adapter is very long, and seems to put a lot of weight on the power supply. I think it would have been nicer for the adapters to have a short length of cable to avoid this, but then again that would have cost more. All in all, that's a minor issue, really.This is a great device. Pros: The fit of the power plug was perfect. The actual power supplied per multimeter was closer to perfect than the original (Toshiba). Per owners manual voltage adjustment was very easy and clear.

Since I tried to save some money by buying a battery other than Dell (which I hear are worthless anyway), perhaps I should not be surprised that the computer doesn't get along with the battery. After some serious Googling I learned that the replacement batteries are expensive, generic batteries are about half the cost and some folks have reported bad experiences with generics. When I looked into the generics I did note that the power density was not the same as the Dell branded product - look at the mAh rating and the higher the better. Further Googling evidenced that batterystyle was price competitive and I had the assurance of batterystyle service. The new battery arrived quickly and is an exact copy of the original I had in my dell laptop when I bought it. My only wish is that they were cheaper and longer lasting. this new battery on my Dell Latitude D410 was worn with age, looking for a replacement I turned to the manufacturer and was disappointed at the price tag. i want to buy a bigger battery for my laptop but didn't want to pay the premium price for the national brands. this battery replacement is way better than the original dell piece of junk i got when i bought my NEW laptop. the original batteries only lasted 1.5 hrs when fully charged and were dead every time within 2 days without any use.
i eventually figured out why the vendor sold these "cheap" $90.
i am considering buying another battery from batterystyle. So far the battery lasts about 3hrs and I can go for a week without using the laptop and still have power.

laptop warranty company sent me another garbage refurb replacement that lasted 45 min on a good day. This bad boy lasts 4+ hours! My laptop is so much more functional now that I do not have to be tied to an outlet. Suspend works since the machine can go days not hours without being plugged in. The battery seems to last forever. When just web surfing it can last 5 hours. Watching dvd's it still last over 4. My old battery could not come close to that.

hard to get excited about a battery, but this one gets me close to it.

After doing the regular full charge/discharge few time I found out that this new battery runs for an average 4.5 to 5.5 hours on my sony laptop I bought this lil' guy because my original battery went dead after 2 years of faithful work. Looked around some and came to find out that Amazon has the best deal. And that the extended power battery is just a bit more then the regular one. So I decided to give it a shot.

I hope it keeps doing the same for a while. As of now I am really happy!

bought this battery for my Sony laptop. The original runs about two hours and I wanted more time without charging. I did a full charge and discharge before initial use and then watched two full length movies on battery power. I used the laptop on my flight to Las Vegas from Boston. After the movies I still had enough power to sit and play solitaire until we landed. This aftermarket battery was much cheaper than that price Sony wanted and runs like a "pink Bunny". This item exceeded all my expections.. it really meets my need. we have yet to use

This item has all the capacity I need for my Toshiba laptop. The original battery wouldn't quite last two hours, even when new. So far this battery has run 4 hours and still had some time to go.

this replacement battery is great for the price. It fits perfectly onto my laptop. The only problem is that the overall shape of this replacement battery is NOT the same as the IBM battery which prevents me from being able to use my IBM docking station with the battery attached. Since i received this product, it ended up not being compatible with my computer: a Dell Inspiron 1525. But, the staff were very helpful and helped me configure it within minutes! I ended up saving $100 from what dell would have charged. It's worth the hassle of calling the company if it's not compatible. buy this item to replace the second one of my dell. The first battery was recalled by dell after first year of purchase. The second was completely dead within one and half years. (How terrible it is!) This one works well so far, but you know it is hard to make a judge for a battery in a short term. I hope it can last longer considering its one-year warranty.
