was surprised to see this hp battery since I was expecting a substitute. I paid about 1/4 the price compared to the price listed at hp website. wish it could go on.

The increased battery life would last you through nearly any trip.now i always take it with me. it is convenient.

This battery is the same as the original and has given the same performance as the original: 4-5 hours of battery life per charge during typical cpu operations. It is the perfect amount of time for a day at the office with some periods of stand by. If it is movie watching it will get you through a full movie and then you'll still have an hour of working time left on a plane ride. Of course much of this is a function of the laptop as well, but I am very satisfied with the pair.

Nothing enhances the value of your laptop like a really good extended-life battery. The battery accomplished that hands down! This battery is easy and quick to install, and the impact of its additional size and weight are far exceeded by the tremendous gain in usable time on the laptop. The original battery is still usable and should be kept as a backup, or another means of squeezing out a few more hours of computing time if your on really long trips or flights. A good buy.

We bought this one because the original battery finally gave out, but within a couple months this one was already shutting down within about 15 to 20 minutes of being unplugged - with no warning. THIS BATYERY WORKS WELL. HOWEVER, THE TIME IS TOO EARLY TO GIVRE FULL STAR.

Slightly higher battery capacity than original battery. Pavilion series was recalled I think. This new item works perfectly. Best price but still pricey.

My concern with buying an aftermarket charger was that it would damage my battery life... Many months later it hasn't done a single bad thing to my battery. This is a great alternative! highly recommended.
