wanted an original Toshiba battery but Toshiba wanted a lot more money and they said it would take up to 6 weeks to ship. I bought it here for a lot less and I had the battery right away. So far, it's a great battery. Depending on what I'm working on, it may last 2.5 to 3.5 hours. With the original battery, I couldn't even watch a full movie when I traveled without having to charge it. With this one, I was able to watch 1 and a half movies.

Replacing the old battery in my laptop was a great improvement. However, battery life with laptops still seems to be an issue. As far as shipment, it was delivered as promised.

At any rate, my new battery is here, popped it in, drained it, gave it a boisterous charge, and now i'm getting somewhere between 3.5 to 4 hours battery life on a full charge. I was appalled after 1 cycle though, the health dropped to 99%, but now I'm nearing 20 cycles and it's still at 99%. Works for now, hopefully this one will last the rated 300 cycles (apple says 300 cycles should have a health of 85% still).
