Recently, MSI has released two new gaming notebooks of G Series -GX70 and GX60, which has become the world’s first gaming notebook, powered by AMD Richland A10 chip processor (model A10-5750M) and the highest Radeon HD 8970M independent graphics gaming notebook. MSI company said, compared to the previous ones, GX70 and GX60 have increased by 40% in terms of visual aspects, battery life, and CPU performance.

The device uses the AMD EyeFinity 3D technology and the Killer E2200 Game Networking LAN gaming network card. The company equip GX70 with a backlit keyboard and speakers with a subwoofer effect.

GX70 and GX60 gaming notebook are all powered by a capacity of 750GB hard drive and 8GB DDR3-1600MHz memory space. Both products are used Blu-ray drive, and feature SD / XC / HC card reader, HDMI 1.4 high-definition multimedia interface and 720p HD webcam devices.

MSI GX70 boasts a 17.3-inch full HD non-reflection (non-reflective) screen while the GX60 features a 15.6-inch screen. In addition, GX70 supports 802.11b/g/n networking and Bluetooth 4.0 functionality, and has three USB3.0 and two USB2.0 jack, while GX60 does not support Bluetooth, and only has three USB3.0 and a USB2.0 jack.

In terms of prices, the price of GX70 starts at $ 1,399.99, while the GX60 is $ 1,299.99.

AMD has boasted that, the tablet PC with Z-60 Hondo chip can play “Call of Duty”, which is just hype, but the company’s latest processor core does seem to be a lot of use on the low-cost laptops of next generation. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One of AMD’s chips are used in the Jaguar core. AMD offers from photographs I have seen, using this core Temash and Kabini APU in performance and battery life can meet the low-cost Windows 8 Tablet PC or laptop needs.
Some of the chart offered by AMD may mislead the audience, but above this one is quite clear: AMD claims that, compared with the products in 2012, low-power system-on-chip Temash can simultaneously achieve the following two points:

1. A graphics performance in 3DMark11 benchmark, performance has nearly tripled, and in PCMark7 system benchmark, performance has also been improved considerably

Dual-core 1GHz A4-1200 consumes only 3.9 watts, mounted on a Tablet PC without a fan, there should be no problem. 8-watt quad-core A6-1450 (can be overclocked to 1.4GHz) mounted on a very thin laptop should be able to line.

Nevertheless, Temash performance is not really strong. AMD said, Temash is medium Intel Core i3 and low-power Atom series. Temash life time is longer than the Core i3, and performance surpasses Atom strong. While playing with the 22 fps frame rate “Dead 2″ This game is not enough smooth, but compared with the Core i3 devices, it can browse the Web or play more video two hours, and certainly make some people heart.

Kabini APU performance is stronger than Temash, with power consumption of 9 watts to 15 watts. AMD offers from photographs I have seen, it is in life, and some 3D performance benchmarks, but is also slightly ahead of Intel’s Ivy Bridge processors.

Industry commented: Windows 8 on cheap laptops and tablet chips, compared with their previous generation, as well as with Intel’s existing comparable products, the new of AMD looks very competitive, but Intel is still possible to surpass AMD, because it will launch Haswell processors and micro-architecture based Silvermont Atom processor. AMD claims that the graphics tasks, their new products with Intel’s new plan is still competitive. In fact, HP, Acer and Vizio Temash APU have been designed using the thin section equipment, and in seeing these devices, we still can not make the conclusion.
