According to the market analysis agency iMore analyst Rene Ritchie, Apple would launch the new version iPad tablet PC in April this year. Allegedly, the new version iPad 5 will be thinner and lighter. Ritchie has been one of the reporters who have most accurately disclosed Apple news. Previously, Ritchie had firstly reported the appearance design of the tablet before the Apple launched the iPad Mini.

“We have been told that Apple is seriously considering the plan of launching the next generation iPad tablet in April this year, however, we are still uable to determine what the final decision is.” Ritchie also claimed that the shell of the next generation iPad has been revealled, which may indicate that Apple is preparing to launch a brand new iPad.

Ritchie also said he had heard that Apple would launch the second generation iPad Mini Tablet PC, but this new iPad Mini may not be configured the Retina display.
