Asus released the 7-inch tablet phone FonePad, to be listed in March

ASUS has already released the publicity earlier to prepare for the publication of the new product “FonePad”. In accordance with the product name, it is a 7-inch screen tablet PC with phone functionality. And during the MWC, ASUS officially published and exposed more details about the hardware and software. It’s equipped with Intel Clover Trail platform Atom Z2420 1.2GHz processing chip, embedded PowerVR SGX540 graphics core, with 1GB RAM and 3G and WiFi connectivity. And it’s preloaded with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. It’s 4,270 mAH battery life can be used up to 7-8 hours.

This product, in essence, is a bit like the Nexus 7 basis but with some enhanced improvement. For example, it’s with the microSD slot which the Nexus 7 doesn’t have, and also it has a 3.0 megapixel camera in the back. As for the same parts, they have both adopted a non-slip rubber back cover, the screen is also equipped with the 7-inch 1,280 x 800 resolution IPS panel. The price in the Asia-Pacific region is US $249, and the listing time is in March.
