Chinese photovoltaic pellicle solar battery output to reach 1GW

Chinese private energy companies, sichuang hanneng Co., Ltd will invest 21 billion yuan (about 3.1 billion U.S. dollars) to building a  plant, when its annual output of silicon pellicle solar battery will reach 1GW.

According to the Group's subsidiary, which is based in Sichuan, Chengdu. Once completed, its annual sales could reach 11.7 billion yuan. The company claims the project or whether the investment in terms of production capacity, is China's largest silicon pellicle solar battery project.

According to a spokesman for the Chinese to sichuang hanneng mentioned, the project currently under construction, the concrete operational date has been announced.

After many years of technical studies, Chinese could have developed an amorphous silicon germanium thin film solar cells. The company claims the battery technology not only reduces production costs, but also in the weak sun with better performance, while at the same sun, power generation more efficient.

Once in operation, solar battery plant will be first sold to the domestic market in the near future, will be enough production to Europe and the Asia Pacific market, the company claims.
