How to right charge laptop battery?

Majority  of people think that it is unnecessary to wait for charge the laptop battery until it  automatically shutdown, and arbitrarily charge is not good. Generally speaking, most of laptop users are used to recharging the battery when the laptop has a charging indication .the time of indication for charging the battery could be set by user themselves ,with a common time is 3%.

I agree with the majority of the people. In fact, regardless of laptop use nickel-metal hydride or lithium batteries, these batteries have a memory effect. The memory effect of nickel-metal hydride batteries is very obvious, while lithium ones equally have memory effect, memory effect of which is smaller than the nickel-metal hydride bale.As for the totally misleading opinion that there is no memory effect on lithium, it is only exaggerated and irresponsible business conduct in advertising. Well, since the battery has a memory effect, it should be noted when charging .Charging it when the electricity of battery is completely run out as much as possible . Do not have to deliberately charge the battery until the laptop automatically shut down, although there is no harm (because the laptop battery has a charge discharge protection and automatic shutdown in general has not yet reached notebook battery discharge protection standards) In fact, to charge the battery when its power is less than 3%  is very good,  there is  certainly memories effect . Compared to natural wear and tear, it is ok. it is unrecommended to arbitrarily charge as the user wish . Whether  thelaptop battery is nickel-metal hydride or lithium,it has a memory effect.therefore, arbitrarily charging will greatly shorten the battery life.
