I was prepared if this AC Adapter did not charge my battery. I really just wanted a power supply so that I can use my old laptop. We have other dell laptops. I was thinking that it I needed to charge this battery, I could use my other Dell AC Adapter. It's an old laptop, an Inspiron 8600 I bought in 2003. It probably won't hold much charge anyway. but since this battery was installed into my laptop ,it could works very well.
