this new extended one is to replace to my small size original battery for my laptop that I have been used for years. The old one was only lasting about 1.5 hours; With one, I got about 4.25 hours. I carried it for a long plane trip. It works great and price was quite low. I just also want to advise the new user that be aware that in order to get the higher capacity battery life, the battery will be bigger. It may not work with your docking station because the battery sticks out the back. Therefore, make sure that you use the regular battery when using docking station in your office.

Great product and works well. Saves a lot of money vs going through IBM. Fast Ship just as described.hat is more, Longer charge and still holding after a few weeks.it is really very worth my money i paid.
