this item fit. It charged. It has a charge indicator on the bottom just like the Dell OEM battery. So far so good. This battery feels significantly lighter than the original Dell battery, which may end up translating in to less capacity, but given the amount of money saved, I could buy 2 Lenmar batteries and still be cheaper than buying one Dell OEM battery.

This was a cheaper AND better alternative because not only does it work but I no longer get the error message when I plug it into my laptop. It's been a month and still going strong.

this battery makes my dell laptop almost perfect. the battery lasts so long that i only need to charge once a week! the little original battery is pitiful. now i can go anywhere with the aspire, and not worry about carrying the charger. the only downside is the size. its a bit of a monster.

i am extremely impressed with the price, quality, and shipping performance of this product. I have had a Dell laptop for about four years and the battery has been shot for the last two. If the cord comes unplugged you have less than one minute before the computer hibernates! The cord/charger was getting worn as well. I went to the Dell website and they wanted $155 for the battery and $50 plus for the charger/cord. After reading some of the negative reviews on their website and the positives about the battery,i decided to buy one battery here to savy some money.fortuantely, this item works very well in my laptop.a successs in saving money and got good products.
