i bought this adapter even after reading some bad reviews, just to give it a try because of the low price. I ordered it on 18th and it was promptly delivered to me on 21st ( The delivery was fast without paying extra for it!) and it works great. My laptop is all powered up now. For $12, it's a great deal.

this item is worth 5 stars because I've had it for a few weeks now and it seems to work just fine. I was concerned when ordering it due to the few bad reviews, but it was so darned cheap I couldn't resist. I went ahead and wrapped electrical tape around the computer plug-in and the first inch of wire to protect it from too much bending and pressure, because that's where my original one failed and I can imagine an inexpensive item like this not tolerating a lot of use/abuse.
